Devastated by the sad news, but then Barb and I caught ourselves smiling as we reminisced at all the great memories. Dr. Hook, making the perfect nightcap, and making fun at our only friend who drank Molson Ex! Sincere thanks to you and Kath for inviting us in your lives, explaining several times the way to the cottage and making room in the bunkhouse for that 3 hour nap after the Saturday evening jam! Too young to go but you enjoyed more life experiences than we ever will and left us with a lifetime of awesome memories. Rest in peace my friend and keep the quarts on ice for us all!

How fortunate we are to have known such a kind, gentle soul for close to 3 decades....Ron's love of music, a good joke, a healthy debate (he won most) and his wonderful laugh will be sadly missed. We will often remember "Hook Weekends" with the acoustic jams, touring of the lake with Cap'n Ron at the helm and steak dinners topping it all off. Miss you amigo....
Love, Tom & Roxane Hunter

We were lucky to have been able to call Ron a close, special friend for many years. So many amazing fabulous memories of fun, friendship, and always lots of laughs (live music; singing; dancing; games; boating ...). Missing you.
Love Cynthia and Gilles xoxo

We have the pleasure of being close friends with Ron & Kat for over 25 years now. We have SO MANY memories of Ron that to place only one here is most difficult.. I can tell you that we had many late night discussions until early morn on political issues moral affirmations and almost any topic you absolutely should stay away from when socializing with friends. We have so many good memories of Ron. Always up for anything he used to joke I'll try it once ....if I like it I will try it a few more times just to be sure. He has been abducted for Hockey games which he enjoyed immensely and dropped off at the end of the evening by the "BOYS" perhaps a little full from the evenings events. He actually slipped one night coming along the walk and the myriad of men shouted " Man Down" and all scurried up to make sure he made the door step in good stead. Always a smile and a tilt of the head and a little belly laugh that still makes us smile. Always there with a helping hand when needed. For those of you that did not get to know Ron.....we are sorry . For those of you that did know Ron we feel the loss with you. We are saddened that our time together has been cut short, but we have reservations at the perfect table with the perfect view where we will meet again. Until we meet again Ron...............John & Su'

Ingrid and I are going to miss Ron in our lives. He was there with us at the cottage, family gatherings and various trips. We will always remember the good times, especially when we went to Australia for our son, Bruce's wedding. We travelled over half the country in Australia and enjoyed every minute. Ron will always be in our thoughts and memories. Goodbye my friend, we love you! Steve and Ingrid
