Lynn Veitch

Obituary of Lynn Diane Veitch

It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to our beloved Lynn who passed away peacefully in hospital, Friday, January 21, 2022, at the age of 79. Predeceased by her loving parents Norman and Jean Veitch and her younger brother Kerry. Lynn loved her family deeply.  She was a devoted sister and will be forever treasured by her sisters Joan (late Don) and Laurie (Bob). Cherished aunt to Brian (Nicole), Greg (Stacey), Alison (Jeff), Philip and pre-deceased by her dear nephew Dave (Lisa). Precious great aunt to Jordan, Norman, Ryan, Scott (Esther), Andrew, Rochelle, Mike, Jaydan and Jillian and great great aunt to Lucy. Sadly missed by longtime partner Paula Oke. Fondly remembered by lifelong friends, Fordie, Pat and countless others.

Lynn was born in Ottawa to Norman and Jean Veitch. After graduating as Valedictorian from high school, Lynn devoted more than 40 years to her career at Bell Baker LLP. Lynn loved music, baseball, animals and time with friends and family. Her generous spirit, enormous heart and genuine care for all will be forever missed and has left a space in our hearts that can never be filled.
