l was saddened to see Liz's obituary today as l was getting caught up on newpapers. Liz was a long time member of our weekly Wednesday Group of the Ottawa Valley Quilters Guild. Her work was always stunningly beautiful. She always had a ready smile to share with us & her latest quilt in progress. My condolences on the loss your mother, grandmother, & great grandmother. l am sure she is a sitting at quilting frame with new friends on a cloud somewhere. She will be so missed.

Sincere condolences are extended to all of Liz’s family.
Liz was a passionate quilter who loved to ensure that others enjoyed their quilting experience as much as she did. I had the pleasure of taking quilting classes from her at the Nesting Hen. For many years, Liz and were members of the same quilting group in Blackburn Hamlet. That gave me many more opportunities to learn new quilting skills.
Recently, Liz and I belonged to the same quilting guild that met via Zoom for meetings and virtual sew days. It always so nice to see her bright smile.
Although nothing can make up for the loss of your Mother, Grandmother and Great-grandmother, I do hope that happy memories of her will help you through this difficult time. Liz was a lady who brought much joy and happiness to many people.

So sorry for the loss of your mother. She was very proud of her family and often related how grateful she was to have you all in her life. Elizabeth and I would each share bragging rights about our grandchildren . I will miss our FaceTime visits.
I have many wonderful childhood memories growing up with your mom and she was always artist and that talent truly was displayed in all the beautiful quilts she created!
May your treasured memories console you during this difficult time and may you find comfort in knowing you were always there when she needed you the most.
I hope you find some strength and comfort in this quote “Perhaps they are not stars in the sky but rather openings in Heaven where our loved ones shine through to let us know they are happy “
Our deepest sympathy
Margaret and John Vilez
