Obituary of Rex John Hussey

It is with sadness that we inform you that Dr. Rex John Hussey, from Ottawa and born in London, England, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, August 17^th, 2021 at the age of 85. He was the beloved partner of Gerald Patry and husband of his late wife, Cynthia Hussey. 

He was the cherished father of Catherine Richard (Hussey) and Richard Hussey (Jennifer Ramsay) and the loving grandfather to Sophie and Chloe Richard, Owen and Alex Hussey. He was also the dear brother of Marion Cavalier and Susan Hussey (Windsor, England). Rex was a dedicated research scientist in chemistry with National Research Council of Canada from 1966 to 2001.

Family and friends are invited to Cole Funeral Services & Pinecrest Remembrance, 2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa, on Sunday, August 22, 2021 from 4-6pm to celebrate his life and share all memories spent together.
