I was so very sorry to hear that Maria succumbed to her terrible illness. She will be missed. Maria diligently took the time to chat when we were visiting Ottawa and always hand-wrote the nicest letters in the cards she mailed us sharing insights & family updates - I loved reading them so much! Maria was so kind & generous & had such a wonderful laugh! Her Christmas baking was always something we looked forward to. Maria was a best friend to my Mom & Dad. I fondly remember all the luncheons, dinners, outdoor adventures, and parties, etc. that the Baylie crew enjoyed over many many years. What a fantastic neighbourhood of great friends our parents & we had! Maria will & is sadly missed. Please accept our deepest condolences dear Dirschl family during this difficult time.
