I remember my brother as a loving person. He had a great knowledge of all things Irish and loved his soccer. He was very proud of the team he coached and the Gales in general. His wife Margaret was his great love followed by his children .and grandchildren. His strength was his ability to listen and he was a fair man. I miss him deeply. He dug a deep place in our lives and will be forever missed. I am so lucky to call him “my little brother”

To Margaret, Kathleen, Debbie , Anna , Peter , Lisa , Patrick and all other family members . So very very sorry for your loss . Jarlath was the first person to meet us at the airport when we arrived here to make Canada our home . It was such a tough few months not knowing anyone but Jarlath and Margaret made us feel so welcome . We had many a fun evening together. Sometimes too much fun !! So many memories of Jarlath . The time we did the St Patrick’s day float “Finnigans wake” and Jarlath was half frozen in the bed. Also on my wedding day Jarlath presented my English Hubby a Dub Jersey ad they made him an honorary Dub which was unheard of ...lol. All the Dub Club Christmas parties we had in the Aule Dubliner . The excitement on the kids faces and Jarlath playing guitar and singing all the carols . You were a great character and we will always remember you . Thinking of you all during such difficult times especially Margaret. Love to you all xxx May Jarlath Rest In Peace He will be greatly missed especially by all the Dubs here in Ottawa who you made feel like we were still at home

Dear Margaret and Family,
I was so sorry to hear Jarlath has passed away. He touched so many lives in his 72 years . I feel privileged to have known and worked and socialised with him for some years before you all emigrated. And with you and the children at the Traffic Dept children's Christmas party. You can take comfort in the fact that Jarlath got the best out of his time here in all aspects of his wonderful life.. Take care and may Jarlath rest in peace.
Yours sincerely,
Eugene O Reilly.
