I worked with Eric at CRC in Shirley's Bay in the '80s. I recall him being a calm and very personable man... all-around nice guy. We once spent a long autumn day salmon fishing in the infamous Black River in New York in a rickety old boat with some friends. The craziness of the boat-packed river made for quite the spectacle. Of course, we caught nothing, but we had quite the adventure with humorous stories to tell! My deepest condolences to Eric's friends and family on his passing.
