Mom, it has been a privilege to be your daughter. I could not have asked for a more loving, and supportive mother. You brought so many blessings to my life. You were my best friend and a fun loving travelling companion. I was so happy that you accompanied Brian and I to Hawaii, the Dominican Republic, the Bahamas and Florida. We enjoyed fun times at various cottages over the years. Even though you never learned how to swim, you loved to dangle your feet in the water.
Your love was unconditional. Your wonderful sense of humour and the innocent comments you would make always provided our family with joy and laughter. Dementia did not diminish your laughter or your gentleness. Your light continued to shine.
You will always be in my heart and my spirit. I am very grateful for your long life, but my heart is still broken. I will love you forever.
