So sorry that Lloyd has passed...we really enjoyed chatting with him these past few years. He had such a great sense of humour, and genuinely cared for others. Sincerely, Suzanne and George Thompson and Family.

Will be missed by the many motorcyclists he toured with from the Ottawa Valley Touring Club. Always a wise conversationalist and storyteller. A great resource on GIS, GPS and navigational mapping. Ride the BMW; fly with the wind. ...Ron

It was a pleasure knowing Lloyd for the last 25 or so years. He was one of our Gaspe trio (I am the white Goldwing guy with the beard). I'm probably the only one of all of his dude friends who shared a bed with him; we had to check into a motel to dry our sopping soaking wet clothes.(he never closed his eyes) But there may be more of you. I enjoyed two trips to the North Pole with Lloyd including getting lost at Sickle Point, laying out satellite reflectors, and wondering if anyone was ever going to find us. But most of all I enjoyed it when Lloyd, Nancy and Joan came here to grace Jane and me with their presence in Nova Scotia to ride around the province and hang out at Peggy's Cove. I also enjoyed Americade with Lloyd. They loved him at Whitehorse Gear in Conway, mostly because they knew when he came through the door he was going to buy enough kit to make their next mortgage payment. He was probably the most tech savvy guy I ever met, especially in the area of GPS. He knew more about globaling position than Garmin or Magellan. Mostly, I just loved having him for a friend. Rest in Peace by biking and DRDC brother. We will ride again
