Obituary of Anna Maria Rybak
Just two days after her 86th birthday, Anna Maria died surrounded by her family after a long and courageous battle with Huntington’s. She was so happy to be able to see her family on her birthday, after being kept separated by the COVID pandemic.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Peter and her eldest son Garry (Jill). Dearly loved mother of Dave (Maureen), Stephan (the late June), and her beloved daughter Sophie. Cherished Oma to Katrina (Mark), Natalie, Gregory (Sandra), Stephanie, Jessica, Christopher and Jordan. Cherished Great-Oma to Jaxson.
Anna Maria will be fondly remembered by her many friends, neighbours and caregivers.
Thank you to the wonderful staff at Embassy West Senior Living and Bayshore Home Care. Your kind, compassionate and excellent care of Anna Maria since December 2018 was truly appreciated by her and her family. She felt loved by many, and really looked forward to all the hugs pre-Covid days.
Due to COVID restrictions only immediate family will be in attendance at the funeral on Thursday, April 29 at 11 a.m. Those wishing to pay their respects, or attend the service virtually may do so at https://view.oneroomstreaming.com/authorise.php?k=1619542777112683. Interment at Pinecrest Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to University of Ottawa Heart Institute, Huntington Society of Canada or the charity of your choice.
