Obituary of Cynthia Joan Hunter

It is with great sadness that the Hunter-Fevrier family announces the passing of Cynthia Joan Hunter. On Saturday April 10th 2021, Cindy passed peacefully in her home at the age of 63; she was surrounded by her loving husband Bryan Fevrier (together for 28 years) and her two sons Jarrett and Jordan Hunter-Fevrier after a 7 year battle with cancer.

She is survived by her sister Nancy (Brent Doherty), step sister Kathy Lyons and mother Joan Lyons (Black), and was predeceased by her father William Hunter.

Throughout her life, Cindy was a consistent model of strength, determination and kindness. She had an unwavering spirit that was driven by the immense love that she had for her family. Her warm personality and positivity will be missed, but never forgotten.

A service for close family and friends will be held on Sunday, April 18th at 1p.m.; A livestream  of the ceremony will be available here for those who cannot attend due to COVID restrictions.

In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Centre.
