Ramamasi was a delight to be with. She had a really great sense of humour and always cracked us up!
I remember when she joined my mum in Hawaii back in 2006, they had a blast on the Islands!
The two of them had so much fun together.
Every time we visited masi, or she us, she made sure that she made Khandvi for us. It was the best!
Masi will always be in our thoughts and will be missed tremendously!!

Ramamasi, Ramaba, or simply Ba, was a motherly figure for a lot of us in the Ottawa Gujarati community. Her beautiful welcoming smile, and warm hugs, made each one of us feel that we were very special to her, as she was to us. The obituary from the immediate family truly reflects the wonderful, caring and sharing person that Ramamasi was. Ramamasi was a volunteer teacher at the Vidhya Kunj Gujarati Language Classes for 15 continuous years (1983-1998). As such, she was instrumental in teaching Gujarati language and culture to many children in our community. For this service to our community, we are very grateful to her. We will dearly miss Ramamasi, but she has left us with many beautiful memories to cherish and remember her by.
