Obituary of Antonino Blasioli

October 16, 1939 - February 14, 2021

On February 14th, 2021, Tony, age 81, passed away peacefully at the Ottawa Hospital Civic Campus.

Tony was the eldest son of the late Alessandro and Anna. He will be lovingly remembered by his beloved wife Giuseppina of 58 years, his children Rosanna (Concezio), Sandro (Vicky), Dino (Chad), and grandchildren Carla and Alexandria.

Tony is survived by his brothers Aldo, Fernando (Paula), John (Julia), Frank (Joanne), brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Tommaso (Concettina), Carmela, Gabriele, Melina, Filomena, Pierina (Jean-Louis), Renato, and many nephews and nieces.

He was predeceased by brothers-in-law and sister-in-law Vincenzo, Pino, Lucia, and Giuseppe.

Appreciation is extended to the staff of the Ottawa Hospital for the care and compassion given to Tony and his family.

In support of the public health and safety measures related to COVID-19, the family will hold a private memorial service. In lieu of flowers, donations in Tony's memory may be made to the Canadian Lung Association.
