Dear Peter, Patty, David and Jennifer, Harry and I send our deepest sympathy to you and your families. Vicky had been a friend for many years. We were in the same gourmet club and the same bridge club and we played bridge together on line up until two weeks before her death. Vicky was always good fun and we enjoyed visits to your cottage. Our dog Lucy loved your Mom as she was a real 'dog person' and when Vicky came to our place to play bridge, Lucy, ignoring the other players, would run and jump on Vicky's lap for some loving.
There are so many memories we formed over 45 years. One of the things that stands out is that your Mom never complained. In the last few years she suffered pain from arthritis and various surgeries and spent months in hospital. But she always maintained a bright smile. Unfortunately, the past year has kept us apart from friends.
Vicky was a large presence in all of your lives and her family will miss her terribly, She was very proud of her husband, children and grandchildren and all your accomplishments. Her friends will miss her too as she had been part of our lives for so many years. We are thinking of you and send our condolences.
