My sincere condolences to Ken’s Family.
Ken was the best friend a person could have . Ken was incredibly supportive to me since we first met in 1983 - initially as a supplier - then a partner - and always a friend - a very close friend.
Ken not only helped me in business - guidance , advice, connecting me to the right people -and as as a great business partner. He was my mentor and I learned so much from Ken. Ken was always there for me on the personal front. He treated me like Family and was very caring and one I could turn to for help or to discuss issues and always get support.
Ken was a great businessman, he was focused, determined, skillful and articulate. I never tiered of hearing his numerous experiences - in detail. I will miss Ken and have great memories of a great man and friend. Allan MacEwen

Hello McCrimmon Family
My name is Pat McCurry, and I learned of the passing of Ken in today’s Ottawa Citizen. Please accept my condolences on his passing - this is a very difficult time, made more trying due to Covid. Obviously Ken led a very active and full life.
I am the son of Jack McCurry (d. 1998), who worked with Ken during his time at Petrofina. As a kid, I remember my dad speaking Ken’s name many times, and about his eventual business ventures into Suny’s Oil. I believe they stayed in touch for many years during their working careers - dad stayed with Fina until his retirement in 1980. Ken’s obituary also mentioned another name from dad’s early days with Petrofina – Merv Wells. As I recall, Merv was one of dad’s trainers/mentors during his early years (late 1950’s) with Fina.
Interesting reminiscences, but unfortunately, under sad circumstances.
Once again, please accept my sincere condolences.
