Obituary of Ronald (Ron) Carrell

Ronald John William Carrell sadly passed away on January 21, 2021 at the young age of 51 after losing a short but devastating battle with liver cancer that came on suddenly and had only found out about it very recently. As like all challenges he faced throughout his life, he faced this one with bravery, strength, grace and dignity.

He was the devoted and loving partner of Andrea Owens, very proud and loving father of Logan and Reid and stepfather to Justin and Juliana. Dear son of Jim and Mary and dear brother of Dawna (Kursten) and Susan & Kevin (Ethan and Sarah).

Ron was a man of many skills including home renovations, camping and pretty much anything he put his mind to. He always enjoyed helping others solve problems with exactly the right gadget from amazon or costco or home depot... He also enjoyed scouting and was a proud Beaver/Cub/Scout leader so that he could share that with his children. He enjoyed the comraderie of many of his close friends, some of which were fellow scout leaders and others who were close friends and neighbours.

Ron could always be counted on to come through for everyone. His kind and gentle nature will be missed by all and it is with a heavy heart that we have to say goodbye for now.

Because of Covid restrictions, the celebration of life will be postponed until the pandemic is over. Details will follow at such time.
