I spent many early mornings with Tom hosting breakfasts at local plumbing wholesalers; Tom was always the first one in - not because he loved my culinary skills, but he was an early riser and he knew I was a good listener I think LOL.. He didn't have a negative thought in his head - always ready to help find a solution to plumbing problems.. Rest in Peace Tom.

Dear Jean, Allison, Deanna, Lesley, Dale and all the inlaws and grandchildren, we send our deep condolences.
What a beautiful family Tom raised. The few times we were around ALL the Pegg family we could not help but feel the love and devotion they have for each other and this was all set up by dear Tom and Jean.
Wishing you all many years of fantastic memories you have of your Dad.
Much love, Lisa and Michael Thumm

Our deepest condolences on the sad loss of Tommy. He was a great man and always had a smile and laugh for everyone. Him and Dad (Joe) were the best of friends and always fun to watch together. They were lucky to have such a long lasting friendship. May your memories give you peace in this very sad time.

Mr. Pegg was a gem. The quality of this man was exceeded only by the love his family had for him. I always looked forward to talking to Mr. Pegg even when I was younger - not only was he cool but he was also always kind, caring and very generous to me - I do take comfort in the fact that he took a great deal from life: growing up with very little, he enriched not only his life but those who were lucky enough to keep his company. I think I will remember best my visits with him at his home in Nepean, a meal at the Prescott and our runs up to Low where I had the pleasure of his quick wit, his story - telling prowess and his love of laughter - those who knew him will miss him dearly, but will relish the fond memories he created for us. We will miss you Tom - I hope you don't mind me not calling you Mr. Pegg.

Deanna, I want to express my sincere sympathy on the passing of your father. He was a wonderful man, with a strong moral and ethical foundation which he coupled with a determination to ensure that the job always had to be done right. I enjoyed working with him over many decades. As you work through this time of grief may the many warm memories of good times you shared together, help bring comfort to you and your family.

I was sorry to read this morning the news of Tom's passing. He was a good man, and he was generous and kind and made time for people. It was always a treat for so many years for our kids at St. Brigid's Camp, especially our inner-city kids, when Tom would bring up the boat and teach them to water-ski. It was a highlight of the summer for them. Tom and Jean were always gracious hosts and were always welcoming any time you dropped in. And I still remember the pride Tom had in his brand new Lada, one of the first to be sold in Ottawa!
To Jean, Allison, Dale, Lesley and Deanna, and to the extended family, you and Tom will be remembered in our prayers and thoughts.
