Obituary of Rajatendu Ray

April 23, 1971 - January 22, 2021
 

It is with great sadness we inform you of Rajatendu Ray’s departure during the night of Thursday, January 21, 2021 at his mother’s residence in Ottawa. He is survived by his loving mother Mrs. Nandita Ray and predeceased by his father Dr. Kanakendu Ray. He will be missed by friends in Ottawa and caring family members in India and abroad. Raj was a loving and dedicated son who frequently spent time with his mother. He was a gentle man with a sense of quiet confidence. A graduate of Carleton University and Institute of Information Technology, Raj pursued IT consulting. He enjoyed sports cars, politics, volleyball and exercise which he missed with gyms being closed due to COVID-19.

The Prayer Service will take place at Cole Funeral Services, 2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa. 

Family and friends are invited to join virtually on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at 10:00 a.m.
