We are so sorry to hear of Jim’s passing. We first met Jim 30 years ago when he designed our cottage on White Lake. His unique ability to combine a superlative creative vision with a strong sense of ethics, all backed with his wonderful personality and warm smile, made him such a pleasure to know and work with. At the end of the project he presented us with a beautiful painting of our cottage which still hangs on our wall in a place of honour.
As you work through some times of grief in the days ahead, may the warm memories of the wonderful times you shared together bring some comfort.

We met Jim and Sharon when they volunteered first for Autism Ontario and later for Families Matter Co-Op. They were an amazing couple and so much fun to be around. I truly never saw Jim without a smile on his face and was always greeted with a warm hug and a kiss. A special memory for us is our anniversary dinners every September at Biagio's Italian Kitchen where both couples were able to take advantage their half-price Anniversary Specials. The photo attached is from one of those special dinners and the smiles on both faces says it all.
Our deepest condolences to Sharon, Jordan, Meredith and James. This truly lovely man will be missed by all who knew him.

Jim's "Waterford" Wardlaw cousins (David, Robin and Craig) remember him fondly, and send love and condolences to Sharon, Jordan, Meredith and the whole family. A sudden and shocking loss. We wish we had been able to spend more time together.

Sharon, Jordan, Meredith and families, I am so sorry to hear of Jim's death. A flood of happy Calabogie memories came to mind and I cherish the times our families spent together. The obituary is a wonderful portrayal of Jim....a truly lovely man. He brought smiles and happiness wherever he went. Loved the pictures... Jim would be very proud. He will be missed, but he left behind memories of his beautiful smile and a life well lived.
