Obituary of Laurie-Ann Sparling (nee Toombs)

Unexpectedly at the Queensway Carleton Hospital on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at the age of 73. Survived by her loving husband Ron Sparling of 55 years. Dear mother of Darryn Sparling. Cherished grandmother of Kyra (Alex) and Alexa Sparling. Niece of Norma Perkins (Don). Predeceased by her parents Ken and Muriel. She will be missed by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. As owner of Laurie-Ann Entertainment Agency since 1972 Laurie coordinated the entertainment for many local fairs and other events in the Ottawa area. She will be missed by many colleagues and friends in the entertainment industry. Due to COVID restrictions a Private Funeral Service will be held at the Pinecrest Remembrance Chapel on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at 1 p.m.
