To Shawn and Patricia, So sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. Although she certainly lived a very long life I know that her loss must be difficult for you. She is the last of her generation for our families so this really hits home for all of us. When I first came to Ottawa in 1982 I stayed for awhile with your Mom and Dad. She was very kind and made me feel so welcome in your home. I hope your sorrow will soon give way to fond memories of her. Chris

My family fondly remembers Aunt Phyllis for her outgoing and sunny personality. She was very kind and loving and her gracious hospitality was on display at family gatherings and special celebrations. She always greeted us with a big hug and kiss which l was blessed with for more than sixty years. Her good nature and caring for others was I think part of her secret of a long and happy life well lived and well loved. We will miss you Aunt Phyllis but look forward to seeing you some day in Heaven. Dave and Carol.

The fact she made it to 99.5 years is a testament to her fortitude and had been so fortunate to have been cared so lovingly by her children .

This photo and the words shared about our Aunt Phyllis' life capture the wonderful, energetic and loving personality of a very special person. Anne and I will treasure memories of Aunt Phyllis' and husband Frank's, and children's, Shawn and Patricia's, warmth and hospitality every time we visited their home. We continued to be amazed at how young-looking Aunt Phyllis was, even as she entered her ninety years decade a few years back. She loved her PBS British mysteries and this was always a special subject of mutual enjoyment, when she and I got talking on the phone. I will miss our conversations, but as fellow Believers in Jesus Christ, I look forward to our next meeting together, in His timing, recalling the hymn, "Soon and very soon, we are going to see the King.... Hallelujah! Hallelujah! We're going to see the King!" Love you so much, Aunt Phyllis, and looking forward to seeing you again, in the Sweet By and By, in God's glorious Heaven! Jeff and Anne Atkins
