Deepest condolences to all who loved Stephanie. I knew Stephanie as a colleague at Roland Michener. I taught with her many years ago for a short time, and then worked with her in her learning support role more recently. Stephanie was always gracious, kind, and absolutely dedicated to the students she supported. I am certain that she has made a lasting profound and positive impact in countless young lives through her commitment and dedication. May her spirit live on in all of those she touched. Again, deepest condolences to Stephanie's family.

Steph was one of the best people that I had the privilege of knowing. I coached ringette with her for years and she taught me lots about coaching and what it means to be a kind, courageous person. She brightened up my day every time I saw her and we always had amazing conversations, whether it was about ringette, life in general or anything else. I am very grateful that I knew her and got to call her my friend. She was loved by everyone who knew her and was an absolutely amazing person. My condolences go out to her family during this time, especially Carmen, she loved you more than anything. May she rest in peace.

Dear Betty and Michael, Stephanie and I met when we were 3 years old. We were instant friends. She introduced me to the game Kerplunk, fishing at birthday parties, tacos, perms, and scary movies. We walked to High School together everyday for 5 years and we shared most of our clothes! Although we lost touch after High School, I thought of her often. I’m saddened to hear about all that she has gone through. My heart goes out to her family. I’m thinking of you all during this very difficult time. Sophia Penney xo

Everytime I wake up, I first remember that my friend, Stephanie, is no longer here. John, Carmen, Mrs. Alexander, I can only imagine what you are going through and I am so very sorry for your loss. I am so blessed to have known Steph and to have so many wonderful memories of her. She was brilliant, funny, kind, and strong. When she was around, you knew she would take care of everything. Memories and laughs we shared that I will cherish forever include Steph being maid of honor in my first wedding, weekends at the cottage, ringette tournaments, partying at Steph’s house on a Saturday night until 5am and then playing in the Gloucester tournament at 8:30am on Sunday (we lost), Steph fighting a huge spider in her sunroom with a broom, all of us laughing so hard we cried, Steph and Keri sending me flowers and cheering me up when I was on chemo, Steph dropping off meals she made for Brian and me, Steph and I hugging the last time I saw her on the ice in her team’s ringette game when I was reffing. It never mattered how much time had passed between when we saw each other, it felt like no time at all when we were together. Stephanie was a beautiful person inside and out. I will miss her so much. I know she will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her. John, Carmen, Betty, my deepest sympathies and all my love. Patricia
