Obituary of Sam-Moy Tjie

It is with great sadness, the Chan family announces the passing into the Lord’s hands of CHAN TJIE Sam-Moy (Anne) at the age of 93 at St. Patrick’s Home of Ottawa peacefully on Tuesday, April 21, 2020. Predeceased by her husband CHAN Chil-Yee (Samuel). Cherished mother of Linda (David), Janet (Edward), Judy, Bill (Rexan) and Olivia (Steven). Grandmother of Kevin (Tracy), Derek, Timothy (Pearl), Clifford, Christian, Bryon, Colman and Adrienne (TD). Great Grandmother of Jeremy, Xander and Amelia. We are all blessed by her love, wisdom and unconditional sacrifice towards her family. In memory of CHAN TJIE Sam-Moy (Anne) and lieu of flowers, donations to St. Patrick’s Home of Ottawa Foundation or Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family. Special thanks to the compassionate physician, nurses and PSW at St. Patrick’s Home. A funeral mass will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Church at a later date. Inurnment will take place at the Pinecrest Cemetery.
