Obituary of Leora Doreen Froome

Passed away suddenly and peacefully on April 27th, 2020. Beloved wife of the late William (Bill) Froome who was the love of her life (June 2nd, 1988). Loving mother of Eleanor (Steve Anderson), Bruce (Carole Lainey), Chris (Glenn McDonald), Greg (Karen Strike), David (Tanya Clayburn), and Cathy (Don). Proud Grandmother of Rod (Joanne), Mike (Heidi), Kayla, Chelsea, Jeffrey, Amy, William, Ashley (Cory), Craig, and Christopher. Great grandmother of Gavin, Trent, Elodie, Ben and Brantley. Dear sister of Rona (Ron Quackenbush) – predeceased by siblings James, Irene, Jessie and Garnet. Special Aunt of Carolin (Rick Albers), Great Aunt to Hannah & Heidi. Mom/Lee will be missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. Mom loved her family and taught us acceptance, to be kind and laugh. She was the rock of the family. She loved dancing and never missed a chance to get out there and tear up the floor. She loved a good party and rarely turned down an invitation. Our family wish to thank Crystal View Lodge for making Mom feel a part of their Community. A special and heartfelt thank you to Ottawa Senior Care (Tina & Staff) for their kindness and compassion and a special thank you to Dr J. Lauder who was there for Mom right up to the end.
