Obituary of Lucia Spagnuolo

SPAGNUOLO, Lucia Peacefully, with her sons by her side, on Thursday, April 16, 2020, Lucia Spagnuolo (nee Cuomo) age 97. Beloved wife of the late Salvatore for 56 years. Cherished mother of Antonio (Maria L’Orfano), Nicola (Barbara Campagna) and the late Fiorenza. Proud Nonna of Lucia, Gianluca and Marco. Predeceased by her sisters Giuseppina (Vincenzo), Rosa (Biagio), Assunta (Francesco), Maria (Gaetano) and Viola (Vincenzo) of Italy. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews in Canada and Italy. Thanks to the staff at Villa Marconi for the care she received the last four years. A private internment will be held Monday at Pinecrest Cemetery where she will be buried next to her adored husband Salvatore, who predeceased her in 2008. Once the pandemic restrictions are lifted, a Memorial Mass is planned. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Villa Marconi or a charity of your choice.
