Obituary of Vittorio Balerna

Peacefully, on Saturday, October 25^th, 2025, Vittorio Balerna, age 84.  Beloved husband of the late Joan Balerna.  Loving father of Cathey (Richard Dupuis) and Laurie (Joey Leblanc).  Proud Papa of Vittorio Dupuis (Lexie), Vern Dupuis and Meghan Leblanc.  Great grandfather of four.  Predeceased by his brothers Francesco (Luisa), Aldo (Giuliana) and Concezio (Rita).  He is also survived by sisters-in-law Kathleen (Ronald), Elizabeth (William), and brother-in-law Lee, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was a son of the late Nicola and Anna Balerna. Visitation will be held at the Pinecrest Visitation Centre, 2500 Baseline Road on Sunday, November 2^nd from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8pm.  Funeral Mass will be held at St. Anthony’s Church, on Monday, November 3^rd at 10 am.  Entombment and reception to follow at the Pinecrest Cemetery. For those wishing, donations may be made to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute.
