Obituary of Pierina Silletta

The family is deeply saddened to announce the passing of Pierina Silletta after a courageous battle with cancer. Dearest daughter of the late Rosario and Maria. Pierina was the beloved wife of the late Saverio Silletta, with whom she shared 43 cherished years of marriage. She will be forever missed by her devoted children, Luigi (Pina) and Rosa (Kurt; predeceased by her late husband Domenico). A proud and loving Nonna, Pierina leaves behind her treasured grandchildren: Saverio (Ariana), Maria (Adam), Amanda (Luca), Nicolas (Joy) and Antonio, all of whom brought immense joy to her life. She leaves behind three sisters and one brother, and was predeceased by two sisters, all in Italy. She will be greatly missed by her many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends in both Canada and Italy.

Her strength, warmth, and unwavering love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

A Visitation will be held at Pinecrest Remembrance Chapel, 2500 Baseline Road on Saturday, October 25, 2025 from 11:00am until the time of the funeral service at 12:00pm. Entombment and reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Pierina’s memory to the Children’s Wish Foundation.
