Obituary of Howard Hillery Boucher
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Howard Boucher on October 9th, 2025 at the age of 73. He passed away suddenly at home.
Howard will be remembered by his loving wife and best friend of over 49 years, Bev (nee Koekkoek), best dad ever to Ryan (Natalie), Brad (Melanie), and Todd. Adoring Poppy to Dominic, Ash, Brendan, Oscar, and Katherine. Dearest brother to Carol (Jim) Leblanc, and predeceased by his parents John and Stella and his brother Kenny. Brother In-Law to Tony (Mary-Lynn) Koekkoek, John (Caroline) Koekkoek, Karen (late Dave) Holmes, Albert (Nancy) Koekkoek, Eileen (Howard) Hudson, Ann (Brian) Steele, and Brian (Karen) Koekkoek. Fondly remembered as well by his many nieces and nephews.
Born and raised in Ottawa, Howard was an outdoorsman at heart, who loved cottage life and a good hard day's work. But most of all, family and friends were his number one.
There will be a private family burial followed by a Celebration Of Life open to all on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Cole Funeral Services, Highland Park Cemetery, 2037 McGee Side Road, Carp, Ontario.
