Obituary of Carrie Taggart

TAGGART, Carrie Margaret (née Alguire) – Peacefully at the Symphony Senior Living Centre, Kanata on October 7, 2025 at the age of 96 years.

Beloved wife of the late Ronald.  Loving mother of Ron (Marg), late Randy (Ti), Rick (Lena) and  Robb.    Cherished grandmother of Tara (Joel), Marti (Paolo) and Ryan.  Great-grandmother of Raya and Lucy.  Dear sister of Bruce, John, Ross, Denzel, Mildred, Julia, Dougal and Elgin (all predeceased).  Predeceased by her parents, Clarence Alguire, and Agnes Alguire (née Stark McColl), 

A special thanks to the staff at Symphony Senior Living, Kanata, for all of the kindness and compassion they showed Carrie over the past 10 years. 

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Cole Funeral Services at Pinecrest Cemetery, 2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa, (613) 831-7122, on Sunday, October 12, 2025 from 1 pm until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel on Sunday at 2 pm.
