Obituary of Michele Donovan

Born on June 7, 1961, Michele Marie Donovan passed away peacefully on September 30, 2025 under the exceptional care at the Ottawa Hospital Civic Campus. In her 64^th year, Michele was the beloved partner and best friend of Michel Loubier. She is survived by her caring mother, Donna Donovan, loving father, Patrick Donovan, sisters Kathleen Donovan, Monique Donovan and Kelly Donovan.  Michele was the birthmother of Kathleen Murray and grandmother of Yasmine and Mikella Conyers.

Michele enjoyed a life of travel and adventures slightly later in years including the adventure to do a short drive in a Lamborghini.  Just over ten years ago, Michele was diagnosed with progressive MS. The diagnoses greatly altered the type of adventures previously enjoyed, but her sprit and will allowed her to find new joys of life. With great medical and personal care assistance from the Ottawa Hospitals, Ontario Home and Community Care Support Services, and modern assisted devices, Michele found happiness and comfort in many things most take for granted.

Through her generous nature and consistent will to help others, all her assisted devices will be donated to those in great need. A joint visitation will be held on October 18th from 12:00p.m. to 3:45p.m. followed by the inurnment service at Highland Park Cemetery, 2037 McGee Side Road, Carp, ON, K0A 1L0.

In lieu of flowers the family is requesting that donations be made to the MS Society of Canada.
