Obituary of Hop Mui Pang Lee (李彭合妹女士)

January 2, 1933 – August 10, 2025

With deep sorrow and heartfelt love, we announce the passing of our cherished mother, Hop Mui Pang, who entered peacefully into the presence of our Lord on August 10, 2025, at the age of 92. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose boundless love, kindness, and care touched the lives of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Born on January 2, 1933, in Fanling, Hong Kong, she later made her home in Canada, where she built a life filled with love, laughter, and dedication to her family. She delighted in exercising, dancing, and shopping, and she faced each day with joy and gratitude. Her children were her greatest pride and joy, and her unwavering faith was the foundation of her strength and grace throughout her life.

She is lovingly remembered by her five children and their spouses — Ellen (Cam), Davina (Peter), Wing (Vivian), Wendy, and Kevin (Connie) — nine grandchildren — Solomon, Barnabas (Jasmine), Nathanael, Gideon, Odella, Danika, Briana, Nathan, and Aaron — and her treasured great-grandson, Christian.

Her legacy of love, faith, and devotion will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

A private family funeral and interment will be held at Pinecrest Cemetery in Ottawa.
