Obituary of Arleane Frances Berry (née McArthur)

Peacefully at Granite Ridge Care Community on Sunday, August 3, 2025, at the age of 85 years.

She will be fondly remembered by sister, Jo-Anne Campbell (Bert), sister-in-law, Donna McArthur, (nee Parker), niece, Karen Oldham, (nee Campbell), nephew, John Campbell and niece, Stacey McArthur. Predeceased by her father, Vernon McArthur and mother, Lillian McArthur, (née Leece), by her brothers, John McArthur and Ray McArthur and nephew James McArthur (Debbie Courage).

Arleane was an accomplished piano player and taught primary grades in the Burlington/Halton Board of Education for many years. She enjoyed her nieces and nephews and her many grand nieces and nephews who were the ‘apple of her eye’.

Arrangements entrusted to Cole Funeral Services at Pinecrest Cemetery, 2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa. Interment will take place at the Lowville United Church Cemetery in Burlington Ontario.
