My sincere condolences, Sara, I didn't have the opportunity to meet you, but I did know your mother, at work in my and her first years of work. We spent beautiful and quality moments here in Timisoara, all those wonderful moments come back to my memory now. But she left for Canada and unfortunately we didn't keep in touch, but I remember her as beautiful and full of life as you and everyone knew her.
May God rest her in peace!

My deepest condolences to Sara and to all who loved Darclee.
I first met this tall dark-haired beauty in June of 2020 on Parliament Hill. Marion, who was friends with my son, and Darclee had come to support the Burpee Challenge and the Walk for ALS. What struck me was Darclee’s energy and positivity. My son frequently visited Marion and when I accompanied him Darclee’s positivity and devotion for both Marion and Sara were clearly evident. I again had the opportunity to visit with Darclee in November of 2023 and witnessed her love and devotion to Sara and her success and happiness. Few can muster the strength of character, the courage and the determination to persist through the battle that ALS imposes and Darclee did. She rose to that battle and later to her own subsequent battle with the same courage and determination. What a beautiful role model for Sara and for everyone else.

Dear Sara,
Words don’t come easy in times like this. The loss of a mother leaves a space in our hearts that no words can truly fill.
We’ve had the privilege of getting to know your family over the past 10 years-through summer camps, ski races, Halloween and New Year’s parties. Your mother was a remarkable woman, full of warmth and energy, yet gracefully private.
We were surprised to learn not long ago that she had done modeling for several years—though, in hindsight, it wasn’t surprising at all given her beauty and poise. She mentioned it so humbly, never wanting to boast.
Her love and fierce protection of you was always so clear—especially during Marian’s illness and again during her own.
May you find comfort in the beautiful memories you shared with her. Her spirit and love will live on in all who knew her.
May she rest in peace.

I will miss you terribly Bubi, our laughs, knitting days, good Big Head red and a run here and there in between, forever. Who knew you can build this kind of years long cherished friendship starting from the pool side in Puerto Plata when our girls were really young and looking for playmates. We built beautiful memories over the years and you will live in our hearts until the end of time.

To Darclee, with all my love :
While driving home yesterday, the song”Tears in Heaven” started playing….and with you in mind , tears started rolling down my face .
I felt the emptiness in the air and in my heart. The sound of the song brought me closer to the reality that no matter how much I miss you and no matter how much I wish to hug you, you are now in Heaven, where there are no tears and where there is no more pain. I wiped my tears and thought about the angels that you are with now….. and how taken away by you they must be!
I am grateful for our amazing sisterhood ,for our unbelievable friendship and for all the love that both our families shared .The memories we build together are forever here to stay.
Thank you for all the joy and love you have given us!

We ve met twice, once sailing at the kanata sailing club with Zsombor and Veronika and I like your mom instantly, so friendly, smiling and full of life . The second time was when she drove you to physio where I could witness her devoted love and concerns for your well being. She was fully invested for her loved ones.
