Obituary of Philip "Ben" Morris Benoit

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Philip "Ben" Morris Benoit of Shaunavon, Saskatchewan at the age of 86.  A man of unwavering selflessness, kindness and generosity.

Ben's background was in electronics where he devoted his career to both the Canadian Air Force before continuing his service in Ottawa with the Federal Government (Transport Canada) 

Loving husband of Christa.  Adoring father of Dan Benoit(Anne Barton), Jan Benoit(Kate Smith) and Sandy Benoit(Keller).  Caring grandfather and loved by his grand children Olivia and Rosalie.  Dear brother of Francine(Bill Newport), Carol(Bob)Viney and the late Rene and Roger.

Neighbors, friends and family will probably remember Ben for his ability to fix most anything in their homes or in their vehicle's electrical systems.  In his retirement he and his wife enjoyed many summers together at White Lake (Bayview Lodge).  He also wrote a novel titled Righteous Agendas and enjoyed reading about quantum physics and much anything to do with space during that time.

An announcement for Ben's Celebration of Life will be made at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the CNIB.
