Obituary of Chander Prabha Kumar

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Chander Prabha Kumar M.A. History (D.A. V. College Jalandhar India); after 16 days hospitalization and hospice care, on 11 February 2025.

Survived by loving husband of 40 years James (Jim) Imlach, daughter Punam, Son-in-law Gurtej (Ashley), Grandson Jodh, and Granddaughter Mira.

 

Chander Prabha was surrounded by many who loved her in her final days including, her husband, his sister Barb, grandson, granddaughter, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, sisters, sister-in-law, brother, nieces, nephews, great-nephews, great-nieces, and friends.

 

A retired member of the Canadian Public Service, she loved to travel.

 

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Cole Funeral Services & Pinecrest Remembrance on Tuesday, February 18, 2025. Visitation will start at 10 am and be followed by a service at 11 am.

 

In lieu of flowers, Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society and to Maison de l'Est Hospice c/o Hospice Care Ottawa.
