Obituary of John James Goldie

It is with heavy hearts that we announce passing of Jack (a.k.a Rufus T. Firefly). Loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather of a group of women, who I am sure he would tell you was the reason for his hair loss. 

Predeceased by his wife Marilyn (Collins), his parents Samuel and Flora Goldie, and his sister Marilyn Charron. Survived by his daughters, Patricia Renaud and Wendy Neldon, his granddaughters, Cari Renaud, Jessie Renaud, Natasha Neldon and Brittany Lewis (Neldon) and his great-granddaughters, Danica and Stella.   

A special thank you to friends Sharon and Drew Mather (he will miss the butter tarts) and to Ann Donohue for your care of dad.

In Jack’s own words, this is the “END OF THE LINE” and his wishes are no wake or service. Donations to the CNIB would be appreciated, in lieu of flowers. He may have lost his sight, but never his sense of humor.
