Obituary of Rosa Cesare

Passed away peacefully at home on March 20, 2026, at the age of 82. Rosa is lovingly remembered by her daughter Maria (Steven Bulmer). Grandchildren Daniel Towers, Samantha (Shravan Joshi), Alexandra Bulmer, Katie (Cam Webster) and two great grandchildren Miles and Callen. She leaves many family and friends across Canada and back in her homeland in Sicily. She is predeceased by her husband Mario Cesare.

After Mario’s passing in 2003, Rosa made the brave decision to move to White Rock, BC to be where Maria had settled with her family. As in everyplace she lived, she flourished in the community and continued working for many years as a skilled and passionate seamstress. Rosa could often be found walking, walking to her friend’s house, to her job, walking to Maria and Steve’s house for morning coffee. Her walks were punctuated with hugs and chats with anyone crossing her path.

Rosa lived a full and meaningful life, rich with family, tradition and love. It can't be overstated that she was a deeply caring and compassionate person, always putting others before herself. We miss her. We love her. We will never forget her. She will live on forever in our hearts.

Family and friends are welcomed at Pinecrest Remembrance Services, 2500 Baseline Road on Friday, June 12, 2026, at 11:00 AM for a Funeral Service with a Celebration of Life Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers please donate to the Alzheimer's Society of BC.
