Obituary of Michal Konkolewski

It is with a deep love and sorrow we announce passing of Michal Konkolewski at the age of 77, peacefully on the 26th of April, 2026 surrounded by his loving family.

Born on the 22nd of August,1948 in Kosciuszki in Poland was a beloved son of Tamara and Ignacy. He grew up in Poland, completed his education in Forestry Technology and worked in his profession doing what he loved best being in nature every day. He immigrated to Canada in 1990 where he worked as a Superintendent managing various buildings throughout the city until his retirement.

Outside of work, Michal lived life to the fullest, finding joy in fishing, hunting, and cherishing time with family. He liked reading, trivia and had a life long passion for history and wildlife.

Michal is survived by his wife of 54 years Alfreda , children Ewa (Artur), Katarzyna (Daniel) and Maciej, his beloved grandchildren Klaudia (Austin), Kamila (Isaiah) and Emma, his brother Ryszard and sister Zofia (Zdzislaw). He was predeceased by his parents Tamara and Ignacy, his brother Antoni (Halina), his sister Halina.

Michal will be fondly remembered for the love for his family, generosity and great humor. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
