Obituary of Molly Kline

Molly Jessica Kline
March 6, 1978 - February 18, 2026

It is with profound sadness and deep love that we announce the passing of Molly Kline, age 47, of Ottawa, Ontario, on February 18, 2026.

Molly’s greatest love was her family. She leaves behind her devoted husband, Jeff Carter, and her cherished children, Téah and Kaleb Eliassaint, who were the center of her world. She is lovingly remembered by her father, Todd Kline (Taunyee Robbins); her brother, Nathan Kline (Deirdre Sims); her mother-in-law, Lois Carter; her sisters-in-law, Julie Carter (Chad Boode) and Terry Milton (Steve Milton); and her beloved niece and nephews, Asha Kline, Quentin Kline, and Miles Boode. She will also be deeply missed by countless friends, colleagues, and extended family whose lives were forever touched by her warmth, generosity, and maternal spirit.

Kind, intelligent, and deeply passionate about the people and causes she cared for, Molly lived a life rooted in service. As Deputy Chief for the Ottawa Paramedic Service, she dedicated her career to leading with integrity and compassion. She was respected not only for her expertise and leadership, but for the humanity she brought to her work each and every day.

Outside of her professional life, Molly found great joy in creating and caring for others. She loved to cook, often gathering family and friends around her table. Most recently, she discovered a passion for stained glass - patiently crafting beauty from fragments of colour and light, much like the way she brought people together in her own life.

Molly’s legacy is one of service, courage, love, and strength. She gave deeply, led boldly, and loved fiercely. Her absence leaves an immeasurable void, but her impact will continue to ripple through the lives she touched. She will be dearly missed and forever remembered.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the Centre for Health Innovation (CHI) / Ottawa Integrative Cancer Centre (OICC), and to Hospice Care Ottawa (Ruddy-Shenkman Hospice) for their compassionate care and support.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Molly’s memory to an organization supporting breast cancer research or care.
