
Obituary of Stella Attfield
Stella Attfield (née Bouris) passed away peacefully on February 15, 2026 with loved ones by her side.
Stella was born in Ottawa at the Civic Hospital on September 17, 1933, the beloved daughter of the late John and Georgia Bouris (Gettas).
Mom lead a full life, some of her favourite things included Sunday family dinners, singing in the Nepean Songsters Choir, going to Florida with Jeanie, and her membership in the Daughters of Penelope. She also loved a good discount!
She is survived by her loving family: sister Jeanie, sister-in-law Irene, and her three sons Ian (Kim), Duncan, and Alex Morrice. Grandchildren Kaitlyn (Corey), Sean (Jessie), James (Kaeleigh), Brad (Gillian), and Brooke (Romeo) and their mom Cheryl. Great grandchildren Cooper, Wally, Isobel, Violet, and Lily. Harold’s children Bob (Nancy), Joan (Brian), Judy (Carson) and Diane (Jim) and their families.
Stella was predeceased by her husband and love of her life, Harold Attfield. Together they shared many interests, family, travel, dancing, shuffleboard, and winters in New Smyrna Beach.
Predeceased by her brother Bill, her sister Margie (Argiri), daughter-in-law Margie, and brother-in-law George.

A visition will be held on Friday, February 27th from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Dormition of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church (1315 Prince of Wales Dr, Ottawa, ON K2C 1N2).
Funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. followed by internment at Pinecrest Cemetery (2500 Baseline Rd, Ottawa, ON K2C 1M5).
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Dormition of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church. In the Donation Note, please indicate “ in memory of Stella Attfield.”
