Obituary of Eldon Bruce Scott

Eldon Bruce Scott, passed away peacefully at home at the age of 83. With heavy hearts, he will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

 

Married on August 31, 1963, to the love of his life, Catharina Scott. Loving father to Shawn Scott, Kerri Landry (Stephen), and Cheryl Fracker (Tony). Proud Opa to Reese, Ella, and Addison. 

 

Eldon dedicated 40 years with Canada Customs, retiring as Manager of the Automotive Audit Unit. He coached hockey for the Nepean Minor Hockey Association, most notably with the DR Demons for over 10 years.  He was an avid curler at various clubs around Ottawa, with the Navy Curling Club being his last stop, where he curled up until the age of 80.

 

In keeping with his wishes, there will be no service. He will be remembered for his humour, kindness, and the countless lives he touched throughout his years. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

 

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to Crohn’s and Colitis Canada in Eldon’s honour.
