Obituary of Janet Elaine Plebon

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Janet Plebon, who passed away at home on November 7, 2025, at the age of 80.

Janet was a loyal wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She will be remembered by many as a fantastic seamstress, decorator and cook, excelling at everything she did. Her girls on the lawn were famous in the community. She will be remembered for her strength, kindness, and the love and support she gave to everyone around her. Janet touched the lives of many, and her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

She will be deeply missed by her husband Basil Plebon, children Tony, Sheila, Anne Marie, grandchildren Sieara, Montana, Jackson, Jesse, Presley, siblings Marleen, Norma, Doreen, Linda, Paul, Ross, Mary Lou, great-grandchild Josephine, many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

In keeping with her wishes, Janet will be cremated, and a burial will take place at Steinmann Mennonite Church in Baden, Ontario on December 14, 2025 at 1:00 PM.
