SKUCE, Cecil Edward - Passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 2nd, 2026, at the age of 87 years.
Beloved husband of the late Margaret Skuce (née Roach). Loving father of Lorraine Baker (Richard), Janet Chandler (Graeme) and Valerie Brousseau (Jean). Cherished grandfather of Jessica, Natasha, Melanie, and Megan. Great-grandfather of Ava, Atticus, Florence, and Louis. Predeceased by his parents, Cecil Skuce Sr. and Oneahta Skuce (née Legge), brother of Sylvia, and predeceased by his sister Marjorie and his brother Alan.
Born and raised in Ottawa, Ontario, Cecil was the third of four children.
As a young man, Cecil served in the Royal Canadian Air Force before earning his accounting degree and working for the federal government in the Department of External Affairs.
During his time in the Air Force, he met and married Margaret Roach, and together they shared 66 years of marriage.
In retirement, Cecil and Margaret enjoyed travelling and giving back through volunteer work.
He will be remembered for his unwavering dedication to his family, his humour, and the steady presence he brought to the lives of those who knew and loved him.
Cecil is reunited with his beloved wife and leaves behind his three daughters, extended family, and many cherished memories.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
